Working with an external monitor
Hi Gang,
I searched and couldn't find an answer so I've come to the group with a quick question. I just picked up a Small HD 5.6" monitor to use as an external monitor to use with my 60D. Which is beautiful by the way. My question concerns the length of time that the camera feeds a signal to the monitor, whether it be the external or the attached LCD. Is there anyway to adjust the length of time that the mirror stays open? Please let me know. Thanks, Tom |

Re: Working with an external monitor
If I understand your question correctly, you need to go into your menu and turn "Auto Power Off" to off.

Re: Working with an external monitor
In the 7D's menu you have to dig into the setting with the wrench icon and find the Auto Off setting and adjust to lengthen the time before the camera shuts itself off.

Lance, Paul,
Thank you so much for the answer. That appears to be it. Tom |
