Help need to recover deleted stills from T2i at DVinfo.net

I deleted important stills from a T2i that had never been downloaded.
I then shot more stills and a little video on the card but not enough to fill it.
Does anyone know if I can recover the deleted stills. It was not reformatted.

I just went through a similar situation - but I reformatted the card rather than deleting files. Terrible feeling. I'm on a Mac and tried an application I had from a previous accidental deletion of a hard drive:

Mac Data Rescue, Computer Data Recovery, Data Recovery Disk - Prosofteng.com

It found some of the files but some critical ones were still missing. Depressed. It wasn't the current version though so I upgraded and crossed my fingers. The most recent version found them all. Huge relief. Very impressed.
