Question about mounting a Israeli Arm
I just bought a Israeli arm to mount my Marshall 7" monitor. My question is where do I attach the other end of the arm is it to the tripod head? The two female to male thread adapter that came with the arm does not fit on the tripod head one is too big the other two small. Do I need to buy a different size thread adapter and if so which one? (I have the sachtler FSB) I also notice there are different Israeli arms available I'm not sure if the one i bought will support the weight of a 7" marshall monitor with battery. I use a 15mm mini-rail/baseplate setup under the camera, and then use a Zacuto mini-rail mount to support the arm & monitor. But there are a number of ways to do this.
Good Luck! |

Hey Kajito,
Not sure which dealer you bought this from but Abel Cine Tech in NY can guide you through this process. You might end up attaching the arm to the Hot Shoe with an adapter. The 7 inch monitor may be too much for that attachment point. |
