Z-Finder Adhesive Frame Removal

I am thinking of selling my T2i but I'm not sure if I want to keep the Z-Finder. So I was wondering, has anyone removed the adhesive frame that is used with the Z-Finder? I want to know if it will leave a sticky residue if I try pulling it off.

Thanks, Colin! I just wish I had seen it earlier to see the special T2i mounting instructions, haha.

Copy and paste version for those too lazy to download: If for some reason you need to remove the mounting frame from the camera LCD, pinch the top and bottom sides of the frame until the seal breaks. Then use your fingernail to pull up one of the corners. Be careful to not pull the LCD screen out of your camera. Place a finger or thumb on the screen while pulling off the mount. Any left over glue residue can be rubbed away. Additional frames are available for purchase.
