New AJA Ki Pro Mini with 7D?
Does anyone know if the HDMI output from the 7D can be ingested into the just-announced AJA KiPro Mini and written out as ProRes422 onto CF Cards? Thanks.

The 7D does not give you a clean HDMI signal, it doesn't matter what device you use - it's a camera issue.

A clean full frame output signal from any DSLR is one of the most anticipated developments.
A lot of shooters would love to see this, including me, for use with NanoFlash, AJA or Matrox. I am sure it is coming, I have heard lots of rumors. We don't know if it will be a firmware upgrade (I doubt it) or a new Camera, more likely in my opinion. Currently only playback is full screen HDMI on the Canons and that means pretty heavy compression can't be avoided.
