Invalid Quicktime - recover video help
I recently rented a 7D with a PL mount to use with some ultraprimes. The shoot went well, and looked great, except for about 7 raw quicktimes from the shoot that I can't open in quicktime or FCP. These clips are from the Compact flash card that was from the rental house. It shot 17 clips that are usable and can open an convert just fine. The last 7 clips can't be opened in qt, mpeg streamclip or FCP. Log and transfer doesn't even see it. After I noticed I was having issues I switched to my personal flash cards.
Quicktime tells me that it's "not a valid quicktime" although finder recognizes it as a quicktime and the file seems to indicate that there is certainly something there. Any ideas on how to recover these files so I can use them in my edit? Thanks in advance. JC |
