File size is HHHUGE
Okay, I hope im doing something wrong, i just logged a 7 Min clip form my T2i to FCP using the capture.
The original file ( the .MOV ) is 2 GB. And the pro res one is 6GB. Shot in 1920x1080 25p mode. IS this right ???? luke |

Yes if you used regular ProRes. We use ProRes LT which gives smaller files sizes but still larger than the original which is to be expected.

Welcome to ProRes...eater of hard drive space!
I have been working on a 60 min documentary that upon final export as a pro res file turned into 60gig! That's at 30p. Looked really good converted down for DVD though!
