Back in July we went up to Cardiff for our daughters graduation. I was on crutches, 4 weeks after having hip replacement surgery. I took my 550D and a recently aquired Olympus 50mm 1.8 lens, which I had managed to pick up for the princely sum of £14. The resulting footage was very shaky, (its a bit of a job taking video on crutches, particularly with an old manual lens with no stabilisisation). I then discovered Mercalli, what a handy plug in, it saved most of the shots, and was very easy to use. A Godsend for DSLR footage taken without the aid of a tripod/monopod. I will definately be using again in the future.
