Very quick advice needed!!!
Hey guys, off on holiday tomorrow,
Taking my 550d for stills and video. only want (allowed) to take 1 lense. Do I yake my 17-55 2.8 ? Or the kit lense, 18-55 ? I know tha 17-55 is a much better lense, but its worth more than the body! Would the kit lense suffice for hol shots? Leave for the airport in 5 hours, quick advice / suggestions / thoughts much appreciated. James |

I'd definitely take the better lens. Store it and camera in a nondescript backpack, so it can't be easily grabbed. If you fly, put it down by your feet.
What's the point of having a nice lens, if you don't use it when you have the chance? :)
