7D remote for video
Is there a remote on the market for starting/stopping video? Maybe something like this were you can keep an eye on the timecode....
Does one exist? Wireless would be a plus. |

No I don't think so, I have been looking. All the remotes and intervalometers only control the still side of the camera.

Canon RC-6 Wireless Remote Controller Replaces RC-5 and RC-1, which both, if set right, also actuated video rolling. There is nothing on them to monitor time, however. I think I paid $22 for the RC 5.

Thank you Chris. Very helpful. I think it would be neat if there was one with timecode (looking like the picture I linked to). Especially as I get used to the 13 minute limit. Btw, I'm wanting a remote for an interview, so I don't have to get up and down as much.
