Quick 7D battery question

I seemed to have lost one of my replacement batteries and the Canon charger that came with my 7D. I think it fell off the power plug on the wall and ended up in the garbage. :-(. Anyway I now need a new charger and with biz a little slower than I like I'm not thrilled about $100 for a charger from Canon.

Do the generic chargers available for inexpensive still charge the stock battery. I still have one good Canon battery. I thinking of trying one of the generic batteries and generic charger. I know the aftermarket batteries don't work with the battery meter but I can work with that if they work at all. They will be for use while the good one is charging. My biggest concern is will the generic charger recharge my stock battery. Anyone have one of these aftermarket chargers?

Of course I won't be using that power plug anymore for charging my batteries.

Nice find but of course it's out of stock right now. For that price I would consider it.

Why don't you post in "Marketplace Section" that you need one? I'm pretty sure someone with two 7D's or 5D's might want to sell an extra charger.

Can't believe I didn't think of that one. Looks like I have some posting to do. I may have a line on one and if it doesn't pan out I will be posting shortly.
