remote on film function at DVinfo.net

Hello,
I have tried a remote on the 550d. It does shutter release as expected, but it seems that there is no way to start recording footage. Would there be a remote that corresponds with the film function on a dslr?

This does not trigger the movie mode as far as I can tell.
