Composite Video Out
I haven't ordered a camera body yet, And I usually rent so I have no way to test this. Does plugging in the composite out disable the LCD like the HDMI jack does? Think directors monitor, which doesn't have to be HD. Searching "Composite video out" turn up nada.

Yes, when you plug a monitor into the composite jack, it disables the LCD. I had my 7D on a jib and this proved to be a bit problematic, although we did get through the shoot in one piece.

Not understanding. Didn't you plug the monitor and run it back to the jib operator and he able to view it? Why was it problimatic? Asking because I have a jib on the way.

That's why I got a small monitor, to use on a jib. Works great.
