Help! T2i HD video for idiots
I've had my T2i (EOS 550D) for about two weeks. I have enjoyed using a good quality still camera but I really haven't made much progress with the video. I know how to make a video, focus and play back but I need to know a whole lot more
Yes, I have the handbook but user manuals tend to send me to sleep. Given time, I will get to grips with the functions. I could do with some help in fast tracking my progress I am looking for any advice on the use of manual controls, especially ISO, shutter speeds, aperture and depth of field and their effects. I have a good understanding of these subjects, relating to film camera. It is the menus and controls on the t2i where I need help. Any input and/or illustrations would be appreciated. Cheers . |

f-stop - adjust this by pressing and *holding* the 'Av' button to the right of the LCD and rotating the dial on the top right of the cam.
ISO - adjust this by pressing the ISO button on the top right of the cam and then rotating the dial. press ISO again when done. shutter speed - adjust this by simply rotating the dial on the top right of the cam. |
