Will this anamorphic adapter work for the 7d?
this has a 72mm lense mount, and almost all my lenses are 72mm, and i can always get a step up ring if needed...
here is the lense adapter i am looking into, i believe this is a 2.35 aspect... http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/282865-REG/Panasonic_AG_LA7200G_AG_LA7200_Anamorphic_Lens_Adapter.html any thoughts? |

Does anyone know if zooming is possible, or would the focal length of the lens be restricted at all?

The problem with this lens is that it's quite soft and there's not (that I know of) a matte box that will fit. Other than that, I believe it'll fit the 7D perfectly.
Here's a nice video of how to install it on the 5D: -- peer
