The Big Screen?
Although Philip Bloom is said to be quite happy with the results on the big screen on Skywalker Ranch, reviewing the lens-topics here, the T2i (as well as the 7D) is said to be to soft for the big screen...
Anyone got experience with the quality of T2i/7D footage played back on a beamer, on a normal screen normally used for Powerpoint slideshows? A beamer is certainly not up to par with the big screen in your local cinema, but I'm wondering if the HDSLR footage is holding up on a beamer screen? |

Well, I've had my latest feature, THE 6th EXTINCTION, which was shot w/ the 720 JVC 100 and shown on a 100' screen and was shocked at how good it looked.
I wouldn't worry about the quality in the slightest (well, maybe on a 400' screen). john |
