I fonud a replacement canon lp-e8 battery from a DV Info Net sponsor: LP-E8 Canon Compatible Li-Ion Battery, it's $23.

In my opinion, a low quality battery with a low price is not worth to buy, it wast your money, and it will waste your time to choose a new one.

I've been keeping up with eBay recently, and noticed that (finally) BG-E8 T2i Battery Grips have some aftermarket alternatives available for nearly half the price!
