I just stole 1117$ from Zacuto. maybe more. But i'm glad i did XD
First, let me apologize to zacuto for not using my
credit card in their store this month. I was ready to buy the tactical shooter, when suddenly i found 3 pipes lying around from a bike rack that i never used. Then, magically... i came up with this: I think Follow Focus is doable with the D|Focus DSLR Mount Matte Box. I was thinking about the 4x4 from cinecity. Weight for the shoulder pipes is also doable. A couple of holes were done for adding an extra plate ( 1 Portable recorder or Mic ) I took the neck from a 10$ tripod on ebay. So far, the most significant downside is the eye distance for the Z-Finder. NO, is not adjustable. So far, working great thou. Thanks for watching ;) Let me know what you guys think. |

Pretty resourceful. With the money you save, you could go a pretty sweet prime.

In place of the mount you have now, I wonder if this would get you the adjustability for an eyepiece. I have one on order for something else but I'll let you know what the quality and adjustability is like!
