Alright great. I think I will try out an adapter. Do you know what adapter is prefered as of now?
Another question about the adapters will it do well with still photography? Probably a dumb question but I have to be safe! Thanks for your time! Terry.

If mirror gets down for video, it will work fine for stills. I have a bunch of Nikkor primes that are doing just fine.

When I first got the 5D, I bought 5 adapters, Kawa brand out of ebay. This was February of last year. They were $ 8.00 apiece, then $7.00 a piece for shipping. I leave them on the lenses I use most. The have been just fine. I have heard others complain about quality on some of the cheap adapters... even these Kawas, but mine have been fine.. These are all mass produced in China, I am guessing, and I guess it depends on the batch you buy out of.
