Microscope Adapter for the Canon 7D

Hello, one of the students is wanting to film parasites, which will mean using a microscope.

Has anyone used an adapter such as this with the camera or any equivalent Canon SLR that shoots video?

Thanks

Craig

My dads a scientist (now retired) and a life long microscopy enthusiast (he has about 30 modern and antique microscopes in his house, written papers on it etc.) and regularly meets up similar people at various microscopy events - he's just got back from one at Belstead House in Suffolk. I know he shoots pictures (but not video and not with an DSLR) on some of his modern microscopes... but I bet he knows many that do the sort of stuff you need to know about!

He lives in Rutland and I'm seeing him next week (date to be determined as it hangs around a corporate video shoot I'm doing at a big company in Burton Latimer, near Kettering) and will ask him...not sure if that's soon enough for you but potentially another lead to help.

If you have no joy with the lead Mike's suppiled above, let me know sooner than that, and I'll phone him and try and get some leads for you as well.

It's really easy to do. It's the same as shooting with a telescope in that you need a T2 adapter. Connect camera to adapter, adapter to microscope and off you go. It should work well on the 7D.
