WFT-E5A, anyone tried it yet? at DVinfo.net

I know this was discussed a while back, no one at the time it seemed had tried it. How about now? Has anyone used the WFT-E5A to remotely control and monitor a recording?
If so, what did you think about the performance of the device and the battery life.
