What codec does the 7D import into a Mac.. at DVinfo.net

I just got the cam and am on the road with a Powerbook... Do I need MPEG Streamclip to import/modify the dnld to use with iMovie '09? Thanks.

You will probably find that editing the 7D's native H264 codec will be troublesome. You will want to transcode the native files into a more editable friendly codec. I think iMovie likes the Apple Intermediate codec. Might be good to transcode to that for editing.
