I replaced mine with an quick release type made of neoprene. Made by Tamrac.

I notice the Zoom unit isn't connected to the audio input of the camera - could that be done and would you get a stereo soundtrack if you did? Does the Zoom allow for simultaneous recording to its own media and a connected device (in this case the camera)?
