Minimum card speed for video?
Im hiring a 7d next weekend for a job, but just wondered what the recommended card speed is for shooting video? i'll be shooting at 25fps, 1080
At work we have a stack of 20 16gig CF cards, rated at 133x speed, which we use with our Sony Z7. would be great if those would do the trick! |

They should work fine.
I have the 32GB 133X and it works like a charm. Others are reporting similar experiences. |

Yes, they should work. I get a buffer filling indicator from time to time with my 133x card, which makes me nervous, but I have never had any issues with lost footage! The indicator is a bar type graph on the right side of the screen, it only goes up one notch when it shows, there are 3 or 4 notches so still room in the buffer.

I get that occasionally too, generally when I first start recording, never over one bar and it quickly goes away.
