Moving to an NTSC country to PAL country
I just got the 7D a couple months ago in the U.S. I don't want to jinx it, but I may be moving to a PAL country in a few months. I know the 7D does 24p, but it doesn't do 25p, only 30p.
Should I keep it (I guess 24p-only is fine...,) or should I try to sell it and buy a new PAL 7D? Or is there a firmware upgrade or something?

Actually yes the 7D does indeed record 25p and 50p (at 1080p25 as well as 720p50).
So you don't have to do anything except change a menu setting (Menu > Set-Up 2 > Video System > PAL). |
