Switching from 4K 25P to HD 50P (C300MkII)
Okay so unfortunately the C300 MkII can't shoot 4K 50P, so I find myself often switching between 4K 25P and HD 50P - this isn't as quick as it could be as it involves the following steps:
1) Go to 'Recording Mode' and select 'Slow & Fast Motion' 2) Go to 'Resolution/Color Sampling' and select 1920 x 1080 3) Go to 'Special Recording Settings S&F Frame Rate' and select 50. It feels this is unnecessarily complicated, does anyone know of a quicker method to switch between modes? Thanks, Matt |

Re: Switching from 4K 25P to HD 50P (C300MkII)
Hi Matt,
You shouldn't need to go in to Slow and Fast Motion to shoot in 1080p50. In recording/media setup menu just change the resolution/color setting and then the frame rate (2 steps). the difference between the two methods is that the S&F motion outputs the file at the current project rate (23.98 or 29.97) so your clip is already slowed down, whereas the frame rate method gives you a 1080p50 file that you would conform in your NLE (pretty much automatic in FCP) if you wanted to slow it down.
