The C700 film
Here is the film we saw last night at the C700 event at the ASC Clubhouse in Hollywood.....basically all the outdoor scenes were back lit shots and they used NO bounce. Many of the indoor shots just used light coming in from the windows or doors. In talking about using the camera, Russell Carpenter said to me he can't wait to go out and shoot some more...the camera had given him a lot of ideas:

OMG that low-light shadow detail has a special kind of fidelity... All of it looks great, the highlight control especially, but the low-light is amazing and organic.

Yes, absolutely. And if I had to borrow the quote from one of the people in the clip, "stupendous" would be it. A truely great result from Canon.
