C300II compact rig
I just got a C300II (coming from a few C100s) and was afraid of how heavy and bulky it would be, possibly requiring new support gear. But the good news you can keep it small and not much bigger than the C100.
Here's a pic using the Wooden Camera top plate, its very sturdy shoe adapter for the C300 monitor, and another shoe adapter for a small handle simply for carrying the camera. A third shoe adapter is for a wireless mic kit. I'm still playing around with the camera but am loving it so far. Just got it balanced and working (somewhat) on the Letus Helix Jr, and in its compact form the camera still works with my lightweight tripod, monopod, fluid heads, etc. Looking forward to chatting more with other C300II users. Cheers, Slavik |
