Something is ALWAYS announced at NAB that makes you regret that you didn't wait. I bought the C100 mid last year knowing that there will always be something better coming along. If my wife took the "Gotta have the newest and sexiest" approach I'd be long gone. C100 does what I need done and probably will for a few years yt. I still use my original Canon 5D, the Mark nothing. Makes good pictures.

I doubt that any NAB announcement would undermine the used market price of a C100 mkI. Buy used. Make use of it. Sell it when that new NAB cam is actually shipping.
Let's imagine that the C100 mkI depreciates from ~$2,000 to ~1,500 over five months. Just try to rent a camera for $100 per month! :)
