Teleprompter using ipad 2 for Canon C100 mk2
hi there. I know it doesn't have to be a specific design for a basic teleprompter to work with the C100 mk2.
but I had to ask here. I have a Shape B15C300 Baseplate on the bottom of the C100 mk2 and I usually mount it on a Sachtler ACE M tripod. The lens i use the most for interviews is a Sigma 18-35mm f1.8 or a Canon 18-135mm STM if only because it has the face tracking feature.. I have an ipad 2 running a teleprompter app and that works ok for clients who are not talking directly to the camera...but I think it's time to get a better set up. what would be a basic but effective "teleprompter" kit (not a true professional one) that would work with my ipad 2 and my current set up for the C100 mk2? thanks erick

I have a Pad Prompter. Works well and does just what you are describing. Uses the iPad. Not a true pro setup but good enough to use with a CEO in a pinch.

Re: Teleprompter using ipad 2 for Canon C100 mk2
hi there. thanks for the response...this Pad prompter is cost effective for sure...not too pricey and it looks good...searched for it on the net and some people say it takes a bit of effort to set it up...but as long as I can make it into an easy package to carry around I'm fine. the important thing would be to protect that glass...
I looked for some DIY ideas. the main thing is to get a quality one way mirror-but it may not look as professional...or easy to transport. I don't have a home studio so I will have to always go to the client's office. I saw your post. Interesting. Your last pic shows it in action! I don't use it very often but if sure helps to offer it when it comes to corporate videos. I may try some glass shops here in my city and see how much a one way glass will cost- maybe 10x11 inches... thanks for the advice E
