C100 Mk2 - Interval Record?
Am thinking of selling my C100 for the C100 Mk2.
It doesn't look like it inherited an interval record option from the C300, to assist with timelapses. Anyone know anything different? Many thanks! |

Re: C100 Mk2 - Interval Record?
You are correct, the Mark II does not have interval record. I do timelapses with my GH4 instead, and if you happen to get a Shogun, that should be getting a firmware update that will let you do interval record as well.
I assume the lack of interval record is due to a lack of Intraframe recording on the C100. Rather difficult to record timelapses into Long-GOP. |

Re: C100 Mk2 - Interval Record?
I read the C100 Mk2 has a "special recording" feature which includes fast / slow motion recording. I was hopeful this might be helpful to record quick timelapses.

It can do a 24p conform to 60p, which means the motion is faster, but that's it.
