Calibrate C100 Mk I LCD
I've owned a C100 Mk I for about 1.5 years and it's been an amazing camera. As many have noted, the LCD screen is not especially accurate in regards to colors, brightness, and contrast. I'm wondering if anyone has had any luck trying to calibrate it to match a broadcast monitor or a calibrated external monitor?
I have a Ninja Blade and I purchased the Atomos probe which did a great job of calibrating the screen on the Ninja. I also have a calibrated Sony Broadcast monitor in my office and what I see on the Ninja Blade is very similar to what shows up on the Sony monitor. In most situations I can use the Ninja Blade's screen to judge color balance, brightness, etc. However, I just purchased a 2nd C100 Mk II after the price dropped recently and I would like to calibrate the LCD screens on both C100 cameras so that they closely match the Ninja Blade (or the Sony Monitor). I'm not expecting a perfect match, but I would like to have both screens show me the most accurate image that I can see (I do not plan to purchase another Ninja Blade for the new C100). Does anyone have any advice on how to get both C100 screens to be as close to my calibrated screens as possible? |
