firmware update confusion at DVinfo.net

Just got email, new firmware for C300. However, the link sends me to the download page where I see files for PL versions only. Anyone have same issue?

Never mind, it works for both versions.

Whilst I've managed to find the firmware download link I can't actually see what the firmware update contains.

It's for both the standard and PL cameras.

After my last experience of installing the firmware, where the camera froze and I had to have the main circuit board replaced, I'll be getting Canon to install any new firmware when I have the Dual Pixel focus upgrade carried out.

The repair would have cost around $1500. Luckily my C300 was still in the warranty period.

Still no dates for the focus upgrade here in the UK. The Canon service centre say it will probably be at the end of the month.
