C100 & Ninja 2 - C-Log test footage.
Hi all!
I'm more of a lurker than a prolific poster, but thought i'd be brave and throw myself in! Currently i'm working on my final drama film for my degree, so a lot of my research surrounding my C100 is all about finding it's comfort zones and not-so-comfortable zones. So far so good in those parts, I have a much better understanding on what I can expect from my camera. On a test shoot - at Crosby Beach in the North West of the UK - I wanted to grab some images to see what I can learn. Here is a little edit for you guys, any crit or feedback is more than welcome! We have a week and a half of shooting left, awaiting some better weather at the moment! I'm having a bit of trouble with embedding but i'll keep at it!

Hi Chris--
Nice test, great shot composition. I have had great success with the "wide DR" profile....seems like I have to work a lot harder in post to get blacker blacks using C-log. Also, you might try shooting at a bit faster shutter speed than normal, in a fairly static shot where nothing much is happening. Good luck! |
