Help - 1DC keeps stopping
On my last shoot, my 1DC gave me an error message a few seconds after hitting record. Something like "Recording has automatically stopped." I had plenty of space on the CF card and I had freshly formatted it in the camera. Since then, it's now happened several times.
Anyone have this problem? Any solutions/suggestions? Thanks. |

Hi Steve, can you please identify your CF card as precisely as possible (make, model specs, etc.) and also what your video recording settings are (frame rate, size, etc.) -- thanks in advance,

Sure. It's a SanDisk Extreme Pro 256GB 160MB/s, 4K, 24fps, C-Log.

Re: Help - 1DC keeps stopping
You should probably try a different card and see if it works better. A bit of problem solving seems in order. Is it the card? The camera? Frame size? Even if a card is approved doesn't mean yours is functioning properly. Does the same issue happen when recording to 1920x1080. good luck

Re: Help - 1DC keeps stopping
I agree. It seems to be more than 1 card but I haven't yet had a chance to systematically test. That's my next step. Thanks.

Re: Help - 1DC keeps stopping
This is an old post and has probably since been resolved but, this issue can be easily solved by using a card with the appropriate read and write speed.
