Canon C100 ISO Questions?
Hi I just recently received my C100 and will be using it this weekend on a wedding during the reception to try and learn the camera.
I've heard the camera has a native ISO setting of 850. Does that mean you should not drop below 850? If so, what happens to the image? When increasing ISO, should I only be increasing in multiples of 850? Anyone else have any other input/tips for the camera? I will probably use the wide DR profile to match with my two other 5d Mark 3s using Cinestyle. Thanks! |

Re: Canon C100 ISO Questions?
If you are using C-Log/Cinema 9 then yes the native ISO is 850. This ISO gives you better Dynamic Range for the log file. If you are using Wide DR then you dont need to use 850 ISO. As far as using Wide DR with Cinestyle, it will not match at all. You will have to adjust your Cinestyle settings to get close to wide DR.
You can find more explanation in your Manual regarding the C100s Picture Profile. |
