For those weighing up the C100/300 vs Blackmagic
Interesting blog entry for those weighing up an EOS cam vs the Blackmagic:
CVP blog & more CVP are one of the biggest dealers in the UK - their frustration is palpable. Ben. |

Re: For those weighing up the C100/300 vs Blackmagic
Well, I'm shooting a lot now with my C100 rather than waiting for a camera. Beyond the slam due to preannouncement (a common thing that computer companies and software vendors do all the time), I feel the two (three) cameras are very different. While I don't have the highest possible resolution that the BM claims to deliver, I have a video camera that is very well designed for people behind the lens. I've shot with a lot of cameras in this range, and consider myself a target market for this camera.,The C100 is really as good as I've ever used. And I really liked the xf305 a lot for a camcorder. I doubt I'd ever hang up my C100 for the BM, even with the 4K.
