Canon 1DC 25P firmware service update is now available at Canon Cinema EOS Service Centers. Details below.

If you purchased your Canon 1DC from Texas Media Systems, please contact us to arrange for a Free UPS Shipping Label to return the 1DC to Canon for this service update.

Beginning today, May 29, 2013, Canon service centers will begin updating EOS-1DC cameras sent in for the service update of firmware to version 1.2.0. Firmware v. 1.2.0 adds the following functionality:

• Adds 25 fps to video recording in PAL settings.

• Corrects the phenomenon that may occurin third party recorders that when a video is recorded to a recorder viaHDMI output, the video becomes two layered.

• When Auto Lighting Optimizer is enabled,a difference in exposure is noted in every other shot when shooting continuously.

This is a service update only and will not be made available for web download. Service updates will be performed at Canon Service centers.
