C100 lanc/remote control
I plugged my Bebob Zoe lanc controller into the C100 to see what it would do.
I can switch on and off and start and stop recording. In my dreams I hoped it might do push autofocus with the Canon EF 24 - 105 lens. But no. Are there any experts reading this who know if it would be technically possible for Canon to provide push autofocus and zoom via lanc with a new motorised lens? If so does anybody have an idea if this is likely to happen?

Re: C100 lanc/remote control
i too am hopefull for those things
canon has mentioned at least looking at making a power zoom for eos, and the C line would seem to be the perfect match with an lanc remote. |

Re: C100 lanc/remote control
what i'd also be very interested to know is if by some miracle, the panasonic intended lanc controllers, will work with it:
Manfrotto 521PFI looks like a great wired follow focus solution. if it works.... |
