The price in the UK has dropped by £1500 ($2400) since I bought my C300 which is a bit galling as I had to wait three months for delivery & it's less than six months since I received my camera. It means the resale value has dropped at least £1500:-( I suppose that it's just one of the perils of being an early adopter.

Just got off the phone with Canon.....on the "registered owner" part of the rebate for the C500, each individual C300 owner must register their camera by either sending in their registration card that came in the camera's box...or by going online and registering.
