Fan error :(
We are seeing an intermittent "fan error" message when either starting or stopping to record. Anyone seen this? Recording seems to be good however.
Thanks. |

Re: Fan error :(
If you extend the eye piece VF, to allow for a bigger air intake, does the error still show up?

Re: Fan error :(
Thanks, that may help prevent overheating. I can't hear the fan spinning so, there is definitely an issue. C300 is going to service.
Take care, |

Re: Fan error :(
So, Canon replaced the fan and rushed the C300 back to me. 24-hr turnaround. Great support.

Re: Fan error :(
Yes, but such a shame it needs a fan anyway. More noise, more to go wrong!

Re: Fan error :(
Hey Alan, I'm curious what you mean by your post? What upper-end cameras out there now DON'T have a fan?

Re: Fan error :(
I too believe that all high end cams are now using fans. Sorry to hear you had this issue.
