Looking...er.... odd.
Have these designers ever used a film or video camera?

Well, if it's just what I've seen, the 3rd party manufacturers are going to be happy selling accessories.

Well, I'm calling epic fail.
Don't care about the specs with another stupid form factor designed by technicians.

Re: Something new from Canon on Nov. 3rd...
My wallet is still recovering from the latest round. I'll have to make do with what I've got. Well, maybe one more of what I've got can't hurt.
Edit: Nice looking though. |

Re: Something new from Canon on Nov. 3rd...
Well so far it looks like Canon did their homework. The new pics surfacing right now with it all rigged up are looking like pure camera porn. Curious about the guts but so far so good. Hopefully Chris chimes in soon, he can give us the real goods. Just my 2 cents...

I know this isn't something I should be terribly concerned with on this kind of camera.... but no XLR? Damn.

Re: Something new from Canon on Nov. 3rd...
It looks like a modular design, so there will be loads of accessories added, especially if heavy cine lenses are being used. Perhaps less of a problem with the lighter stills lenses.
