which burner?

Hello
i am working on a 1/2 hour program that i shot with a canon 5D mark II.
i plan a larger project next.
i am interested in puting it on blu-ray
i edit with avid MC v.3 on a PC, compress with sorenson squeeze 6, i think its a sonic burning program that comes with the MC bundle.
i would like opinions on other burning software
but most impotant is which internal burner and media to suit it.

I am very happy with my Pioneer BDR-205 12x Blu-ray Disc/DVD/CD Writer from VideoGuys, who also are sponsors of this forum and will give you 5% off if you mention the forum to them (if I recall correctly, the code to mention is "DVINFO5").

It is an internal drive, though I put it inside an external enclosure and connect it to whichever computer I want to burn from using a USB cable.
