Which one is better

When output for HD, which encoder is better? MainConcept Mpeg2 .m2ts or Sony AVC? I am using Vegas Pro 9.

Render to MainConcept Mpeg2 .m2t 1440x1080 60i one minute clip results 217mb file size 25,000,000 bit rate.

Render to Sony AVC 1440x1080i @15,000,000 one minute clip results 131mb file size.

View on 1920x1080 monitor I can not tell the different, both are very good. The different I see is the file size. Can you guys/girls give your experience. Thanks you

If you are satisfied with the end result (which is your main monitor), then obviously go for the smaller file size.
