What file type for Blu Ray at Encore CS3?

Hello,
i am using Avid Media Composer 4 for edit.
Then export the timeline as QTRef and import this into TMPEGEnc 4.0.
Choose Mpeg file export for BluRay and then press the Encode.
But when i import this file(mpeg2) into Encore, it is saying that is need encoding from Encore.
What type of file i have to choose to export from TMPEGEnc to be ready for authoring from Encore without new encoding?
Thanks

Does your MPEG-2 file have an ".mpg" extension? If so, look for a checkbox in the encoder to create "elementary streams", meaning .m2v for video and .wav for audio.

If you create an .mpg file, the audio and video are "multiplexed" together and in order to create Dolby sound, the files must first be DeMuxed and then re-encoded in Encore.
