HEY,

I'M IN JAPAN NOW, I WENT IN TO A STORE THEY HAD THE "BUFFALO BR RECORDER x8" BUT IT SAID THAT ONLY VISTA 32BIT SUPPORTS IT.

I use an LG BluRay burner with Vistax64, CS4. Works fine.

Don't know anything about the Buffalo BR you're mentioning; maybe it is new and they don't have x64 drivers done for it yet? That would seem odd to me but stranger things happen in the computer world.

Thanks Pete.

Might be the software that comes in the box, it was Cyberlink i guess that didn't support the Os.

Thanks anyway.

I'm running Vista x64.

I just bought the Pioneer BDR 203 burner with Cyberlink software. Other than having to download a patch from Cyberlink, everything is working fine.

Keep in mind that Vista x64 will run both 32 and 64 bit programs.

I see if so then i think any hardware like BD burner wouldn't really give me any problems to work with as long as it supports 32bit then.

Thanks,

I am using Vista 64-bit and have no problem using Encore and DVD/BD burner. I ditched Nero and now use only ImgBurn. It works great. In encore, I output to DVD folder or BluRay Image. Then burn to DVD and BD using ImgBurn.
