Temporary pixelation in Blu-Ray burn

Has anyone experienced areas of serious pixelation during an otherwise great Blu-Ray DVD? My workflow is FCP to Compressor to Encore. My other Blu-Rays have been burning without at problem. Is it common?

This shouldn't happen. You may have the data rate set too low which can cause pixelation.

How long is your project? What were your transcode settings?

Does it happen in the menu or in the movie?
