Black Magic 4K Pocket -- Electric/Power Specs
Greetings,
Looking to power my BlackMagic 4K Pocket with an external 12 volt battery bank. Specs say it will operate on 12-20 volt source -- but nothing about maximum amount of amps - before frying circuits, etc. Any electric whizz guys out there who might know the "safe" amount of amps before "smoke" appears ? Leaving on a trip very soon to road test everything - appreciate some replies. Thanks Russ G

Re: Black Magic 4K Pocket -- Electric/Power Specs
Think about it - or don't - you plug your 0.2amp battery charger into your 20amp house power or connect your 5W 12 volt test light direct across your your 120amp car battery without thinking about it. Anxiety in this case when connecting something that costs more than a few bucks, but long as your voltage matches, your device just draws the current it needs.
