Re: URSA Mini 4.6K vs 4K
It really will come down to the real world results when it's finally released. but it also will of course come down to whether you can afford it or not, or should that money be spent on other aspects of the production?
Think of digital sensors like different film stocks, they all have different looks, with RAW and other high end codecs, you do have the ability to change/alter the look, but having that solid foundation is what image makers strive for. The more information, the better, and every extra stop of dynamic range is indeed a noticeable difference in available information. Will it make or break your production? Heck no, but poor planning and poor actors and poor script sure will! |

What I meant is that as soon as you reach the quality offered by something like the BMPCC or the BMCC or the BMPC you shoot not worry or obsessing about getting a better image.

Re: URSA Mini 4.6K vs 4K
Anyone heard news on the 4.6k yet? Seems to be taking a while, maybe development problems? Of course it's no simple process to make a camera, just curious
