Internal and External Battery

If I plug a battery into the DC input of the BMCC, will that then charge the internal battery at the same time? I would think it must.I want to meet the genius that decided to not put a door on this camera to allow the exchange of fresh batteries. Man, makes you wonder, huh? No excuses.

Re: Internal and External Battery

Connecting an external power source recharges and tops up the internal battery.
